Unity to Unreal
It's been a while.
So for the past few years I've kinda set this project on the backburner and only updated it once in a while after watching a big event. I've recently gotten back into dedicating nearly all of my free-time to the development of this game. In the time I've been away the engine that I've used for the last 12 years, has made some *very* ethically and economically questionable decisions. So with that being said, I've recently decided to switch to Unreal.
The game is going to have a major overhaul during the next few months and I'm eager to see how the new engine choice performs. I will say that iterative design changes have been a bit more difficult to get a solid understanding of with Unreal for someone that's used Unity for so long, however I honestly feel like at this stage in development I probably should have jumped ship years prior. I will be attempting to post way more regular updates and hopefully explain some things in YouTube videos in the months to come as well.
We're back on the horse! Lets's goooooo.
